Composite Bonding

Very popular and non-invasive treatment for all patients.

Composite bonding is a procedure whereby a thin layer of composite (tooth colour filling) is placed over the damaged teeth, strengthening them and making them virtually indistinguishable from natural teeth.

Composite bonding is very versatile and can be used to treat various clinical issues including:

  • Improve the alignment of teeth
  • Close gaps between teeth
  • Improve the shape, size and colour of teeth
  • Improve the colour of dark teeth
  • Repair chipped or fractured teeth
  • Restore decayed teeth

Composite bonding usually requires little or no preparation of the tooth structure, meaning less pain and discomfort.

Veneers

Dental veneers are a good way to disguise many dental cosmetic issues including cracked, chipped, discoloured or uneven teeth. Thin strips of porcelain are attached to the front of your teeth. The veneers are colour matched to your other teeth so that they blend in discreetly and naturally.

Porcelain veneers are extremely durable so they will last a long time and can help to provide an extra layer of protection to your existing teeth. You will not notice any difference with eating, drinking or talking. Dental veneers are a popular cosmetic dentistry option because it is a quick, painless and cost-effective way to get an update to your smile instantly.

Inlays/Onlays

Gold inlays are restorations placed usually on the chewing surfaces of the back teeth. An inlay fits within the confines of the teeth. An onlay covers the entire chewing surface of the tooth. The procedure involves removing decayed tooth structure or old fillings, preparing the tooth cavity, taking an impression of the cavity to fabricate a custom-fit inlay or onlay. Two visits are required to complete the treatment.

The procedure involves removing decayed tooth structure or old fillings, preparing the tooth cavity, taking an impression of the cavity to fabricate a custom-fit inlay or onlay.
