Dental Emergencies

Dental emergencies can happen to anyone at any time. They can range from broken teeth, fallen crowns to more serious emergencies such as oral cancer. Whatever the emergency, we can provide appointments even on evenings and weekends by prior arrangement.

Call before 10.00am and our dedicated team is here to help and get you out of any dental trouble/pain or discomfort that you may have. We at Kings Dental Surgery will endeavour to see and help you on the same day if possible. Even out of hours calls will be attended.

What are dental emergencies?

  • Broken or fractured tooth: A fractured or damaged tooth can be alarming but try not to panic as options are usually available to restore the tooth. If the area is painful avoid hot/cold food and drinks and try eating on the other side to relieve pressure on the damaged tooth. Painkillers such as Ibuprofen (for non-asthmatics) and Paracetamol might help. Pain free treatment is usually available by contacting us as soon as possible.
  • Lost or de-cemented: Crown, Veneer, and Bridge: This is very common and mostly easily re-cemented back if acted on time. Keep the crown, veneer, bridge safe and bring it with you on the appointment.
  • Toothache: Any type of toothache from sensitive teeth to infection of the gum. Toothache means something wrong with your tooth and requires urgent attention. We recommended you contact our dental surgery immediately where our friendly team will be pleased to help you. In the mean time you can take some painkillers.
  • Broken Dentures: we understand the importance of aesthetics and enjoying your food and can fix your broken denture on occasion most of the times.
  • For any dental or head and neck emergencies we recommended you should not delay and contact Kings Dental Surgery at: 02085742505 / 02085713138
